Emily is a Criminal Justice student on her second semester at Manchester Community college. After a long decision process Emily decided to become a Criminal Justice major in hopes of one day becoming a police officer, so she can help bring justice where it is due and to help others. Emily’s plan is to receive her associate’s degree through MCC and then transfer to Eastern Connecticut State University to continue for her Bachelors degree. She is very excited to see what her future holds for her in the field of her dreams and to see where it will take her.
Emily also happens to be very passionate about art. From the beginning of her senior year she found an artist named Georgia O’Keeffe. Georgia has been Emily’s inspiration for all her art work she has created; as well as being responsible for the person she has grown to be. Georgia taught Emily how to look at life in a different way, how you don’t have to paint the picture you see; you can paint it anyway you want.
